Find Dining with Johor Kaki @JB downtown!

In living up to the title of our latest publication – [Find Dining with Johor Kaki], we specially invite the man of the moment and members of the media on an amazing food discovery throughout Johor Bahru city centre!

We began our first stop at Hiap Joo for a taste of the delicious banana cake that has been baked the same way since the bakery was established in 1919. Incidentally, Hiap Joo was one of Tony first-stops when he started exploring Johor for interesting street food while the same bakery is also our first feature in the guide book. Our foodie journey took us next to Anjung Selera Larkin for JB’s famous and hearty Kacang Pool Haji, before sitting down at Roslin Beriani House for some traditional Rendang and Cendol at Kampung Melayu. Our food trail finally concluded with some typical JB-old style curry fish head at Restoran Kam Long on a high note amidst the weekday lunch crowd!

Once again, special thanks to Tony for putting together this wonderful itinerary, not forgetting of course all the restaurant and food stall owners for giving us such wonderful and delicious food all these while. Our appreciation also goes to UMLand for making everything possible, and there’s more! As the saying goes, “to eat is bliss”, so watch this space for more updates!
