Zhuoyuan lights up Chingay JB with auspicious Qilin Dance!

The Qilin is the most important of the four sacred animals (Qilin 麒麟, Dragon 龙, Phoenix 凤, turtle 龟) in Chinese mythology. Like the dragon and phoenix, the Qilin has features of various animals and as it resembles the Western Unicorn, it is also known as the Chinese Unicorn.

Zhuoyuan Iskandar and the JB Hakka Association Johor Bahru has entered a community partnership worth over RM25,000 to jointly showcase the unique Qilin dance to Johoreans during the upcoming Chingay Johor Bahru. A huge 88-ft double dragon prosperity yee sang was specially created in conjunction with Persatuan Tukang Masak Johor Bahru to commemorate the occasion. Apart from the cash sponsorship, a total of 8,000 hand fans will be distributed for free by Zhuoyuan to the visitors during the Chingay procession.
